So for weeks now MiaLuz has been so frustrated at dinner time cuz she wants the food WE are eating, not her jar food...I've been so afraid to give her any cuz she's so little. After all, lil' Chris NEVER at table food so little; he never even wanted to try. In fact, it's still a struggle to get him to try new things; he eats a maximum of 5 different foods...that's it.......
So this was hard for me to understand, but I've started to give Mia anything that she would and could learn to mash up in her little mouth....Lo and behold, she is gobbling everything up that is given to her! So dessert consisted of milk and OREO cookies tonight; yes, that's the best I could come up with. I'm not Tifany ya know!
Anyways, so as I was cleaning, Mia was sitting in her high chair just yelling at me; I gave her HER cookies, she threw it on the floor, I gave her juice, didn't want it...then I realized she was trying to grab the bag of OREOs on the counter near her... so i took it apart and gave her one of the sides...and this was the result...................

and so it began.....she started sucking on it immediately. then started to sing her song of content...in case you don't know about it, it's a LOUD whaling sound; a non-stop whine that is cute at first but as it gets louder it just pierces your ears!
she was in hog heaven!!!

...and then she rubs her eye...I about lost it, but it didn't faze her. Why is it that kids are the happiest when they are getting dirty. I will never understand that!
So I call the family downstairs so they could see the craziness. Chris started cracking up but lil' Chris didn't like it at all. He kept telling me, "She's dirty mama, clean it, CLEAN IT!!!"
He's so much like his mama!
The picture I wish I could have caught on camera was Abuela's reaction...She put her hand on her chest like she was about to have a heart attack and gasped while doing it...HALLARIOUS!
You see, mom NEVER let us get this dirty. In fact, when every time she used to feed lil' Chris as a baby she would wipe his mouth after each spoonful....crazy lady. I'm happy to say I'm not that OC!!!
So that was the highlight of our evening......

Let Mia try some real food. Just mash it well so it's easy for her to eat. I'm sure she will do fine.!!! I loved your new pics!! Always keep some oreo's in the cupboard. I know we do. My girls enjoy them!

To answer your question, we are learning the photo manipulation program Photoshop in our class. It is AMAZING. Complicated, but once you get the hang of some stuff you're home free. We have covered a lot and still have not even scratched the surface of all that software can do. It's very powerful. So far I have found a few techniques I have used over and over.
She is having so much fun, So precious! I can't believe how big she is getting. Kierra is sure missing her! She needs a friend around. Soren was trying to pull her pig tails at church sunday! She is out numbered with the boys now. We miss you! Love ya!
