Yes, today was a big day. Right after the Change of Command I had to rush home to start getting ready for Mia's party. I had Chris help me make the cake. He was super excited to be helping like a big boy! Mia was right beside us being apart of all the action!

yeah, meemaw NO SILLY STRING IN THE HOUSE!!! lol
it's like xmas for the both of them thanks to meemaw and the gang. they sent a big box of presents for mia as well as chris...
and of course chris had to get presents too....
okay, we ordered some DC posters for chris' room over a week ago and they came today, perfect for the party...
he was thrilled when he saw the ROMO poster...
and there's my lovely cake...isn't it nice? okay, not really but it's the best i could do. at least it tastes good!
already putting her hands in the cake...we hadn't even finished singing happy bday yet!

she sucked every last bit of frosting off that candle
yeah, threw it straight to the floor when she was finished!
she let me know the party was over by taking her tiara off...
meemaw called and we put her on speaker phone so she could sing happy bday to mia. she was smiling at the phone and trying to touch it. chris joined in with her.
and there's the birthday girl. I can't believe it's been a year already. how time flies!
Thanks to Meemaw and the whole gang in Corpus that sent the wonderful gifts. We love you and can't wait to see ya'll in December....

Blanca, I am enjoying all the pictures. MiaLuz is growing--love her smile and the picture with the Oreo Cookie--that's was hilarious. Take care--congratulations to Chris on his promotion and new calling. I am sure he will be outstanding in both.
