Just wanted to post some pictures of this past week. I have so many cute video clips of the kids that I would love to upload but I have yet to figure it out. I have tried but I think I'm doing something wrong because it never finishes the process. If anyone has any tips I would love to hear from ya! Have a great weekend!
Chris has really gotten into batman (as you can see). He watches the movies everyday and puts on his "gear" so he can reenact everything batman does.
Mia is such a good girl. She loves to be around her brother and they play so well together. She's one smart girl. She knew these glasses went on her eyes and was trying to put them on herself but got frustrated so Chris ended up helping her out. Then they just sat there laughing at each other. They are too funny!
So this past week we had a cold front. It was in the low 50's and for us Texans you know that's FREEZING to us. To make matters worse we had pouring rain along with it. And of course on this day we had to make a trip on base. The cool part of it was that Chris as able to wear his new jacket for the first time and boy did he love it. It has the fur at the collar and zippers on the side pockets. He kept saying he looked like the Snow Buddies movie. (BTW, that is a kid's movie that's filmed in Alaska so the kids all wear those type of coats.)

So on Sunday, while I was getting ready for church, Chris was in the room with the kids. The door was closed and I could tell they were having a good time so I let them be as I finished up getting everything ready to go. As I walked in I saw the 3 of them on the floor. Daddy was reading to Chris and Mia was just sitting like a good girl, with a crazy ninja headband on her head. Poor thing, always being used as entertainment. But she seemed to enjoy having it on!!!
This book is a potty training book that Meemaw gave to lil' Chris. Where her right pointer finger is pointing to there is a little toilet button that you push. Once pushed, it makes a LOUD flushing noise with a little kids voice giggling. Well, Mia knows how to push it and loves to do it as much as possible....yeah, annoying....that's Meemaw!!!

OMG!! Where do i begin? I guess I should first start by saying what a wonderfull and beautifull family the four of you make. Blanca you are such an extraordinary person and it shows in your every day activities with the kids.
The Halloween costumes seemed to be a huge hit and even though I was sad to hear 'Lil Chris got scared of the "Monsters" I was laughing hysterically as I was reading it! Sorry! I think something happens to every child no matter what holiday it is. Although, I couldn't figure out what you were for Halloween!--- Just Kidding.
As for the Bday party it looked like lots and lots of fun especially if you're a kid and mom is making a sugar-filled cake. Yes, I thought the cake was beautifull!! What more do you need for a 1yr. old little girls bday when you have a cake that's PINK.
Congratulations again for the promotion Chris--I'm so happy for you and proud of you!!! Blanca in the pic of you, Chris and 'lil Chris it looks like you've lost weight since the last time I saw you. And you can tell your mom and Chris I said so. Tell Chris that in the picture of him in his suit and tie looks like the pose in front of the big pink mirror back at the old Olivares/Saxet house. Oh yeah, so don't let 'Lil Chris mimick his father too much! Ha! No, but really exact same pose from when he was in junior high.
Anyways guys, I love seeing the new pics of the kids and ya'll. Looking at these pics make me want the same thing----sometime. I know Blanc, before I'm 30! Erik gets excited when he sees them also 'cause he wants a familia like right now, right now. And it's confirmed we'll be at the lake house for Christmas so we'll make time to meet up!
