Well, it's finally here...After weeks of extensive searching, we finally found a home to move into. We will be moving this coming weekend. Chris and I have been so consumed with all of this for so long, it's worn us out, mentally and physically. So we are happy to see the end of the road.
The home we are moving into has the same square footage but uses it in a different way. We are getting rid of some furniture to make it a more spacious floor plan. So we sold out 2 desks, a book case, china cabinet, and our "newlywed" coffee and end tables - all on Craigslist! ( Thank goodness for that site!) We decided to have a Garage Sale this past Saturday to get rid of the rest. We had everyone up by 7 and we out setting up within minutes. Lil' Chris was excited to be our there helping until he saw his toys being out for display. After I explain that we were getting rid of the old to make room for the new, he got real excited. That was until the first toy was sold. And to make it worse, it was the tricycle that daddy had bought for him. It was his first and the only one he has had. As the lady took it to the car he had a frown on his face. Then she came back for another. That did it! Chris came to me and put his hands on his hips and stated, "Mom, this is not a good idea. I don't like this idea one bit!" It was so cute and I tried my hardest not to giggle, but once he saw my smile he snapped again, "It's not funny, Mom. She is taking my toys. I don't have a bike!" My poor baby. He was so upset. Then he cheered himself up after much pondering on the subject. He ran to me and said, "I know; We can go to Wal-Mart and buy me a new bike, a big boy bike! Come on Mom, let's go!"
Needless to say, it was a looong morning with the little ones, but we managed to make a good profit to send back to Mom. (After all, it was her things we were selling!) lol
We will be busy busy packing and transferring to the new home this whole week. It will be very tiring and frustrating, but I'm so excited to move into a home with NO STAIRS!!! I can't wait. Keep us in your prayers this week. It's gonna be a long one! Pictures to come.....

WHy are you guys moving?? You're just moving to another house, right? Not another city...just want to make sure I have the facts strait lol :)
our current home had all the bedrooms upstairs and with my constant sciatica acting up it doesn't make it easy to take the steep "flight" up and down all day. i've already fallen down them with mia in my arms and it's just more of a hazard than anything. it's just more of a saftely precaution! No, not another city, just another neighborhood, and we made sure to stay in the "friendliest ward" boundaries! lol
