A day in the SUN!

The heat has hit and it's in full force. This weekend it is expected to hit in the triple digits. I never thought I'd be living in a place that it HOTTER than Corpus. But it would be my luck! So what's better to do in the summer than cool off! My friends and I gathered up our kids and headed to the pool. The kids had a blast of course. I think kids look the cutest in their swim gear. So I had to post a couple of pictures of the day.

There's a story with this pretty girl. This is my good friends daughter. Her and Chris hang out all the time so it was inevitable that they would start liking each other. (Chris has always had a thing for the blond hair, blue eyed cuties!) We were at their home the other night and Hannah (that's her name) whispered in her mother's ear that her and Chris are playing mommy and daddy and they kissed on the lips, 5 TIMES!!! We 'bout flipped out. Chris was called out from the room and before we could even say anything he wiped his mouth off as if throwing the kiss away and tossing it on the floor. They both turned bright red. Needless to say we had to have the "NO KISSING" talk that night. Wow, at age 3? Of course they meant no harm and their reasoning was that mommy and daddy do it because they like each other so they thought it was OK. WHAT A MESS!!!! So now we have to watch these to VERY carefully.
