July updates

July has been a crazy month. I can hardly keep up with the 3 kids right now much less blog about them! As this summer comes to an end, I am relieved that I was able to get through it without losing it, thanks to my Mom being here. I keep thinking to myself, "How did Alma do it? How does she do it? 5 kids, I can't even keep it together with 3! What a supermom!" We had tons of milestones, some accidents, good times, and not so good times...here are a few caught on camera....

Chris~ I had literally just seen him round the corner to his room when I heard a "thump" followed by "the cry". Mother's always know the difference in their children's cry. This was a bad one... He tripped on a toy MiaLuz had left in the middle of the hallway and went head first into the sideboard. What are the odds!?! Poor baby took after his mama in that department, CLUMSY!!! This is after some swelling had gone down. His biggest worry, how could he go to church with a fat lip, "All my friends will laugh at me!" Good thing this happened on a Sunday. He had the whole week to recover!

Another milestone for Adan. He is beginning to hold his bottle...SO CUTE!

Chris and MiaLuz LOVE to help take care of Adan. MiaLuz LOVES to play mommy. She will cover him when he needs a blanket, feels the need to put the pacifier in his mouth EVERYTIME she sees it out (poor baby), and reads and sings to him all the time.

Here, she is reading her Little Mommy book, and he is listening quite intently. I love these moments.

He loves every minute of it!

Tummy time.

He's so ready to move...

I bought MiaLuz her first bedding. She helped me pick it out and put it on. She was so excited to sleep in her bed that night, she got in bed by herself and told me to leave the room so she could sleep in her pwetty bed by herself!

Adan loves his snuggly, it is his favorite toy and he's starting to cozy up with it during nap time

MiaLuz chose these sandals herself! It made me laugh out loud when she brought them to me. They are the tackiest shoes I have ever seen, but they shine and sparkle and that it all that matters to her. You know she is my daughter! lol

I went ahead and bought them for her. Afterall, only little girls can be tacky and still look cute! I just hope she outgrows it or we have a problem!

Adan has discovered his toes...and reaches for them all day long...

It must be exhausting lifting those drumstick legs!!

I loved this post about your children. They are so cute! I know it must be a lot of work but it also looks pretty special to have more than one interacting with each other too. By the way the sandals weren't tacky.....lol!
