A couple of weeks ago, Chris gave his first talk in Primary. He was so excited to talk. He practiced all week and I drew little pictures to remind him of what to say since he can't read yet. He dressed up in his suit and tie (and BOOTS) for the occasion. He did really good and all the teachers were so proud of him. Bishop Strickland was even in there to hear him and he was able to sit in from with him while he waited for his turn to talk. He was literally beaming ear to ear and just kept looking up at him the whole time he was sitting by him. After he finished we saw the Bishop whisper something to him that made him smile. We found out later that he promised him not 1 but 2 candies after church for doing such a good job. Then the Bishop told us later that he was trying to persuade him to give him 3 because he did sooo good. That's our boy! Chris wanted to record him saying his talk so Abuela could hear how good he did. You can see my little amateur pictures on the bright yellow pages. Hey, I tried...(Please ignore the watermelon lady sitting beside the cute little boy!)

Great job Christopher! I still have my girls first primary talks in their scrapbook albums. You look great Blanca! Hope all is well.
Good talk Christopher. I was hoping to get to see your boots. By the way, that talk was good enough for four candies.
