This week Chris has been really busy getting ready to take his soldiers to the field this coming week. He pretty much lives in his fatigues and is working 15 hour days. So when Daddy gets home lil' Chris is all over him...Last night he brought in his helmet to fix the chin strap on it and Chris was just loving it. He wanted to wear it the rest of the night. It is a very heavy helmet but that didn't stop Chris from dragging it all over the house.
It took a while for him to get the hang of putting it on his head without hurting himself. It's so heavy it would just plop on top of his head.

I didn't know why he kept asking me to find his speed racer helmet but it turned out that he wanted Daddy to wear it and play with him...
Daddy finally gave in and sat down with him...He showed him how to salute...
pretty good huh...so the rest of the night when Daddy would salute Chris, he would stand up real straight and salute right back...what a soldier!
