This past Friday was the Adjutant General's Corps National Regimental Ball. Chris was the Master of Ceremony this time around and did a wonderful job. But of course, leave it to me to somehow turn the spotlight to me!
During our dinner, while all 700 guests were listening to the 3 Star General's speech, I tipped over not one, but two glasses of water, in domino affect. REALLY!?!
Chris just looked at me, half smiling, half embarrassed. He already knows the drill. It happens everywhere we go. In fact, this exact incident happened not too long ago. But at the AG Ball...UH! Yes, the distinguished Captain Flores is married to a clutz!
Thank goodness there was only one table behind us to see the entire incident.
Putting the dinner portion aside, we had a wonderful time. It was great to go out and have an evening to ourselves.
Note to self: Keep your hands in your lap at all times!
