Happy Easter

Our Easter Sunday consisted of a small Easter Egg Hunt for the kids in the morning, enjoying General Conference on BYU TV, relaxing with our little family...and trying to rest!
Because the delivery of Baby Adan was so close to Easter, I really hadn't put much thought into the actual holiday. Fortunately, Meemaw sent a box of "Easter supplies" so the kids could have some fun. Thank you Meemaw for saving the day!

Before we headed out, Daddy sat the kids down and explained the true meaning of Easter. Chris has been learning about the resurrection in Primary so he was able to help the story move along...MiaLuz, mmm... we had her for about 30 seconds before she walked out...we tried!
Here they are, waiting to attack the yard!
What is Easter without the cascarone?

Lil Chris hit the biggest target he could reach...lol

...and that was the target for the rest of the morning!

While the boys played, MiaLuz paid no attention. She was on a mission...

finding one of their favorite summer activities, sidewalk chalk!

MiaLuz kept saying, "Gotcha!" every time she found an egg or candy. It was so cute.

There are all of Mia's goodies.

...and then they got right to playing...

...and eating!
We kept trying to get Mia to break a cascarone on Daddy. She would try but all we could get out of her was a "tap" on daddy's shoulder! She is so delicate with everything she does, it was too cute.
And while the kids were having a blast outside, you could find Baby Adan right where he always is, asleep on his swing, swaddled up nice and tight!
