I went to my OB/GYN for a check up yesterday and found out that my due date has now been moved up two weeks. Instead of being 30 weeks (7 1/2 months) I am actually 32 weeks and 3 days, already into my 8th month! Adan is ~4 lbs. and looks great! I couldn't believe it and yet it made a bit more sense to me when I sat back and thought about it.
Baby Adan is extremely active. There isn't an hour in the day that he hasn't brought me to my tush to rest while he uses my belly as a punching bag! I can honestly say he is the most active of the 3 by far! I hope that isn't a sign of what's to come!
So the due date is now April 2. I'm a bit nervous now because I have had both children around the 38th week. If that is the case with this one, Mom will not be here in time for the delivery...I hope I can make it the complete term for that reason only!
Besides all those changes, lil' Chris is getting more and more anxious for his new baby brother's arrival. He blesses Adan in his prayer every night and measures my belly every day to see if it's "big" enough for Adan to come out. He keeps saying, "Your belly is bigger Momma, my brother will be here soon!" I have a feeling he thinks Adan will pop out 4 years old and he can have a play mate! So I keep reminding him that he will be a baby, smaller than MiaLuz. He still gets excited so I'm happy about that.
As for MiaLuz, she knows something big is about to happen and has started clinging to me even more than usual. When she tries to climb on me, I point to my belly and let her know that she is hurting the baby in my belly. She says, "Baby?" as she pats my belly, then leans over and gives it a kiss....I'm not sure how much of all this she understands but she is truly a baby lover and immediately runs and kisses any and all babies she sees at church so I'm sure she will be a great big sister!
Big Chris is super anxious and has enjoyed being part of it all for the first time! He has been a big help and I'm happy he is here to ease the burden a bit.
As for me, sleep is near to never. I wake every hour to attempt to turn over, but by midnight you can find me on our recliner, propped up with my feet on a pillow and a heating pad to ease my sciatica. That seems to be the only way I can catch some zzz's lately. Thank goodness Mia is FINALLY sleeping until 7am, which seriously just started happening this past month (when she realized mommy wasn't going to be jumping up to her every beck and call any more!)
So things are well on their way. Please keep me in your prayers...it's getting harder and harder to walk without aggravating my sciatica. The only meds I can take knock me out for the day, which is impossible to handle with 2 kids running around! So I use the heating pad in hopes of some relief. I will keep you posted as the date gets closer....

You look so great! I can't believe that the baby will be here so soon. Thanks for the advice on Isaac and his refusing to sleep all night!

Blanca- you look great. I know you probably do not feel like it with less sleep and sciatica issues. I had that with Emma along with placenta previa. Take it easy. That sciatica pain is hard to alleviate. My left leg and toes were always numb. Take it easy when you can. I'm glad your mom will soon be there to help you. I will be praying for you!
