Chris' preschool had a little graduation ceremony for the 4 year old. They had the kids put on a musical program for us, singing all the songs they learned throughout the year, as well as a slide show to show all they accomplished. They also recognized all the kids that read books at home. Chris was recognized for reading over 550 books throughout the year!
There he is looking so proud as the parents clapped for him. There was only one other girl who read into the 500's, but Chris read the most out of all 4 classes. He is very proud of that.
At the end of the ceremony, they had the parents line up and make a tunnel for the kids to run through. I had no clue where Chris was going to be but I had my camera ready. Wouldn't ya know, he was the first one to sprint out. Later I was told that they put him in front because they knew he would lead them out with a bang! He was so excited to do that.

This picture makes me laugh so I had to post it. It was so bright out there that none of us could open our eyes big enough to look at the camera and smile. Chris kept complaining his eyes were tearing, Mia just didn't even try to look past the ground, and I, well when can you ever see my eyes anyway!?!
