Here are just the beginning of our holiday pictures...more to come soon...

Christmas started early for the kiddos.
Meemaw took them to see Santa at her apartment complex. They gave out cute little goodies and presents. They had a blast!

For the Christmas Eve party at the Flores' I made another buttermilk pie. I was kinda nervous since it wasn't the same recipe I had previously used. (I had forgotten it in SC!) but
MiaLuz seemed to like it, she practically ate all of Grandma Flores' piece! That's my girl!
lol
MiaLuz stayed indoors with the grown-ups while the older kiddos were out playing football. So we all took our turns keeping her busy!

AWE...so cute!

Here's the gang playing what Chris calls "chips" out in the back house!

...While the ladies played Mexican Bingo in the main house!

One of Chris' favorite gifts, his new Tony
Romo jersey with matching cap. He wore his other jersey so much the number was no longer visible! Thanks
Meemaw!

His second favorite gift, matching cowboy boots to match the ones his daddy was given. He immediately strutted his stuff to everyone for a closer look and wore them to church that Sunday. I even had to fight him because he wanted to tuck his pants into the boots so you could "see" the boot. Crazy boy!

His and her gifts for the kids. You can't give one without the other...
lol
We had a full house at Grandma Flores' house that night so we made a floor bed for the boys. But
MiaLuz thought it was put out for games; what a struggle it was to get her to the bed with me!
Christmas morning you can always find us at Uncle Johnny's. We had Christmas breakfast and then tear open the gifts. This year we added another tradition. Josh hooked up the Web Cam and we all were able to wish
Jerm and the family Merry Christmas together! Here we are starting it off....

Here we are talking to
Jerm and Angie on the web cam...it was so nice to actually see them. We were able to watch baby Isaac open some of his gifts and Nomi and I sang a couple of Johnny's Christmas songs to him, special request from him! Gotta love technology!

The kiddos waiting to open their gifts.
Amalekia's gift to Mom was a device that looked like a
bluetooth ear piece. It basically served as an earpiece, something she is needing more and more these days...
lol
Mom made
MiaLuz a Dora the Explorer blanket. She has outgrown her "favorite" blanket so this is the perfect substitute. Once she saw it she screamed immediately, "DORA and BOOTS"...and pointed to them all! Good job, Mom! She hasn't slept one night without it since...
MiaLuz and
Ariseli got along so well. They played together the whole time they were in each other's presence. Here
Ariseli is painting Mia's nails and putting lipstick on her...so sweet of her to share her new gift with her. I wish we were closer so they could grow up together, makes me sad just thinking about it.

Noemi, her boyfriend, Ronnie, and the hubs; enjoying the good
ol' rocking chairs!

The girls playing together again.

Chris warmed up to Johnny real quick once he realized that tin can carried the best popcorn in it...Chris' favorite thing to eat!

Thanks for posting! & thank you guys so very much for making good on my special request. You guys really don't know how much that meant to me. I had to cover up my end of the web cam because was tearing up really bad. I didn't want it to cause a chain reacting & have the performance cut short. It really meant a lot to me. Other than it being baby Isaac's 1st Christmas, that was the best gift. Thank you! Love you, hopefully we will be down next year. Keep your fingers crossed!
AH! jerm, thanks for the comment. yeah! we saw you black out the screen towards the end and we even chuckled in the middle of the performance cuz we thought we had lost your interest or something...we weren't sure if the reception was even going to make it sound good or not, but we did it because we love you. we miss ya'll so much and hope to see you this year!
