MiaLuz turns 3!

These past 2 weeks have been CRAZY for us! Besides all the hype with Halloween, Chris' field trips to the Fall Festival, and performances, our beautiful MiaLuz turned 3 years old. I cannot believe it. Time flies and I still consider her my little baby girl; I guess I always will...
After all the work I put into Chris' birthday at home, I opted to relieve myself from the additional stress and have it at Leapin' Lizard. This particular weekend was Time Out For Women, so none of the mother's were in town. A BIG thank you to all the Fathers who brought the kiddos to the party. We had a GREAT time!
There were way too many pictures to post so I put them in a slideshow...ENJOY!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Our playgroup met at the Pumpkin Patch last week. The weather couldn't have been better and the kids had a great time.

The pumpkin that they chose. I kept trying to get Mia to pick a bigger one, but I couldn't change her mind. She is tiny, and everything she does and picks is tiny. Too funny!

Quick question...

I started our facebook account a couple of months ago, mainly for PR use, to promote my dance company and help me get the word out about my dance auditions. Well, it seems everyone (well, most of you) that look at our blog already check our facebook account daily. Because of this, I'm not sure the blog is necessary anymore.
Although I do not post too many pictures on the facebook account, it is very time consuming for me to keep up with both, especially if only one is being used. SOOO, my question is this....
Do you still find our blog useful to you? Is it something I need to keep track of? If so, please comment, not just on this post, but on the others. If it isn't, that would be great to know so I can reduce my time on the computer!

Adan's Progression

By 4 months, Adan no longer wanted to sit in the swing, or the bouncer. He wouldn't even SIT on my lap; always jumping! My friend lent me this jumper. I have always been skeptical of these thing, hanging from the door. But he was still too small for an exersauser and I was desperate to try something, so I did. HE LOVES IT!!! He is forever laughing and smiling in it. (And there's MIALUZ, always sticking herself in every picture!)

By 5 month, sitting in the high chair. He is such a little man!

And by 6 months, he could finally reach the floor of the exersauser! It is his new found hobby. He could sit in there for hours if I let him. Don't worry, I havn't done it...yet...jk

I have this exact picture of lil' Chris. When I find it I will post them side by side. Love when they start sucking on their toes. Check out the left hand, straining to pick those chunkers up!

Adan is 17 lb. and 26 inches long. He is still on the ridiculous formula, but is now eating jar food with no problems or allergies. But he is STILL not sleeping through the night. He gets up about every 2 hours, for that comfort bottle. I'm at the end of my rope and am about to drop dead with lack of sleep. So the "crying through the night" remedy is about to begin....I really hope he fixes himself soon....

Always smiling and giggling...such a joy!

Okay, I swear I do not teach her to pose in every shot. I remember Mom always telling me that I was posing for the camera by the time I was 2 year old. I always thought she was exaggerating. Well, seeing MiaLuz do it now makes me believe her! CRAZY!

The joy of a talented son, the NOISE of a talented son! Playing drums. (was amuzed the first 10 minutes, then the headache set in!)

A couple of months ago, MiaLuz picked out a Ballerina book that shows the beginner steps to ballet. Ever since then, MiaLuz has been wanting to start ballet lessons. So naturally, that is what she wanted to be for Halloween. Meemaw sent her a couple of outfits for her to chose from. She literally wore them back to back for 3 days straight. Thank goodness it was the weekend!

Outfit #2, the REAL ballet outfit. She will be starting lessons next month. WE can't wait!

Chris felt a little left out so he came out with his costume, BEN 10! (I'm sure some of you have NO CLUE who that is...neither did I for a while!)

Saturday

We have been having some beautiful weather lately. We headed outside in the afternoon to give the Tahoe a much needed make over. The kids always love to help Daddy... so he puts them to work!

Meanwhile, Baby and Mommy hang out and watch from afar.
