I started our facebook account a couple of months ago, mainly for PR use, to promote my dance company and help me get the word out about my dance auditions. Well, it seems everyone (well, most of you) that look at our blog already check our facebook account daily. Because of this, I'm not sure the blog is necessary anymore.
Although I do not post too many pictures on the facebook account, it is very time consuming for me to keep up with both, especially if only one is being used. SOOO, my question is this....
Do you still find our blog useful to you? Is it something I need to keep track of? If so, please comment, not just on this post, but on the others. If it isn't, that would be great to know so I can reduce my time on the computer!

I love reading your blog but it hard to keep up with everything Facebook, blog etc. Just keep us updated on your cute family whether by FB or blogging!
i love reading the blog and seeing my grandkids. Were to far apart
and the blog keeps me up to date with them growing up.And I can see
them as much I can and believe me I do. To me personally I enjoy the blog
Blanca- I so know where you are coming from. What is hard is probably granparents, and aunt and uncles do not FB. I do use FB. But, I do not post everything. I think the blog is more personal and for families to stay connected. I have fallen behind on my blog. But, intend to get posting. It's more like a journal/photo album. That can be printed in a blog. It logs your history better than FB can. I check out your blog! And enjoy it. Maybe limit your post on your blog to monthly or bimonthly?
I use my blog primarily as a journal. A lot of people have them printed into books and it becomes a sort of scrapbook. That's my plan. So, even when I get no comments for 5 posts in a row and feel like nobody is looking at it, it's still serving a purpose for me. I haven't had any of it put into a book yet, but I do love looking back at posts, it brings back good (sometimes bad) memories!
Yeah, that is what I've been planning on doing, It just seems so redundant sometimes. But thanks for the posts. Ya'll have given me the extra push I need to keep posting!
I prefer blogs, because they are more personal. BUT I can totally understand that Facebook is WAY easier and more convenient. I vote to keep the blog!
You can also the link the two together so whenever you post on your blog it automatically posts on FB as well. Only problem with that is if you really are using FB for PR then you are letting all those PR ppl into the more personal side of your life. But it's an option.
