Today was one of the few days that Chris got home early so he took the chance to go across the street and wet the lines with lil Chris. It's been so cold and ugly over here that he really didn't expect to catch anything; just wanted to get Christopher out of the house. Well, less than an hour later he knocks at the door and as I'm opening it I see Chris holding a good sized bass by the mouth. He hadn't taken anything to put it in....So we hurried to the back to capture the moment with lil' Chris before he was prepared for dinner. Lil' Chris actually helped daddy reel it in and as the story is told... he was imitating the fisherman stance and song played on an XBOX fishing game they play at the house....So with the lil' man in proper position and singing the theme song to the fishing game, they were sure to catch the bass....and so it was done!
Here's the pictures of the men posing with their bass!!! Lil' Chris is so excited and he hasn't stopped talking about the bass that he helped daddy catch...but he still hasn't quite got the courage to actually pick up the fish and hold it himself. (Who could blame him!?!)
Dinner is served!!! It is well...lol

i'm very impressed. that is quite a fish. it must be so great to eat something that you have caught (i have never caught a fish. i guess i am too impatient.)
