Our new home!!!

TA-DA!!!!!

So as you know we have been planning to move to Columbia, SC the 1st week of Oct for Chris to go to the Captain's Career Course. Well, just 2 days ago he received a call and was offered the job as a Company Commander in the same city. This means he will be doing this for at least 12-18 months and then going to the school after that time. This is a great accomplishment for Chris. This job is usually not offered to officers until after they have completed the course so we are very excited and proud of our soldier....Not to mention the added bonus of not being deployed during this time....that's the best part of course! Well, there is always something that changes last minute for us. We originally were going to move into an apartment for the 6 months. It was a nice "cozy" place but definitely not a place we could handle for 2 years. SOOOOOOOOOO, once again, we took a trip to Columbia to find a HOME that would suit our needs. AND BOY did we find one....A wonderful neighborhood for the kids and close to the base. We fell in love with it immediately! We move in 2 weeks....super excited. Here are some pictures. We can't wait to get in and have everyone over....ALL IS WELCOME!!!!

Oooh. That is a nice home. I like to say home, it has a better feel than house. I've gotta hurry up & graduate so I can get a better paying job so we can go visit. Oh! & Chris. You should be proud, I got my fishing license & I am now learning how to fish. It is very relaxing.

LOVELY...send pics after you fill it with furniture and decorations! :) We are pre-approved and looking for a house too! I never thought that looking for a home would be so much work!
