HI EVERYONE: JUST WANT TO LET YA'LL KNOW THAT WE ARE STARTING A BLOG FOR OUR FAMILY SO YA'LL CAN KEEP UP WITH OUR BUSY LIVES...For starters... we found out some great news this week....We are having a beautiful baby girl that we have all been praying for!!!! yeehaw!
All the tests have come out normal and she is progressing well...due in mid November!
Chris was able to call me so I could share the news with him. He's very excited and said he's happy for me because he knows i would have cried if it was boy; well, maybe...haha!
Baby Chris is already learning about being a big brother. It's going to be exciting to see how he reacts to a new child in the home. He loves babies and always hugs and kisses the ones at church so I have no doubt he will be a good brother. Ebony, well she's gonna have to get used to another crazy Flores family member...poor Ebony! It's gonna be a hectic household soon enough.
There's another great thing that happened in the Flores family this week.....
Baby Chris turned 2 years old!!!
We celebrated his birthday at his daycare. We made cupcakes and all the kids made a mess...Chris had a great time. He shared the toys he had gotten with this little blond girl. I think he likes her...uh oh....trouble already!
They play so cute together. Yes, he's already a flirt.
Baby Chris has grown so much. He talks very well and recites just about anything you say. He dances and sings all the time and just recently learned how to do a roll over on the floor. He laughs everytime he swings his legs over his body. He's finally eating better and loves milk. (I never thought we'd get to that point!)
Big Chris is doing well. He is kept very busy over there and hardly has any down time. It's hectic, but he said time is flying for him so that's good to know. He can now receive mail so if anyone is interested in sending anything to him let me know and I'll give you the address. It's always nice for the soldiers to recieve mail, no matter how big or small. He will be returning from Iraq for 2 weeks in late December. We are hoping he will be home for the holidays. Then he returns and won't be home again until August of 2008. We are planning on going home to Texas the 1st of August and staying there until January. So Gma and Gpa Vela have their work cut out for them. I will be having the baby there in Corpus and staying there throught the holidays so Chris and can see the whole family. We are looking forward to being home.
Well, I guess that's it for now. We will try to keep up our blogs every month or so. Things are forever changing over here. We look forward to seeing ya'll soon. Take care and God bless!

Blanca, everything looks great to me. If anyone is reading this, I just want to let you all know that I am going great, and just taking things one day at a time. I can't tell you how excited I am about my new baby girl! She will be a wonderful addition to our family, and I can't wait to see Chris. I hope that all of you enjoy my family while they are home, and I hope to see you all during the holidays. God Bless and take care,
Christopher
Blanca, is that a H-E-B bag on the floor? Did someone take that bag over there or was it blown by the wind all the way to Georgia from Texas?
